Israel and Hezbollah want no further escalation
Israel and Hezbollah do not want further escalation in the region. Against this background, representatives from both sides exchanged messages, reports Reuters.
According to the newspaper, earlier today, Israel and the Lebanese group Hezbollah exchanged messages through intermediaries to prevent further escalation after one of the largest exchanges of fire in 10 months.
The main message was that both sides considered Sunday's intense exchange of bombardment to be “over” and that neither side wanted a full-scale war.
Today, August 25, Hezbollah terrorists fired hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel. According to the militants, they fired more than 320 Katyusha missiles toward Israel and hit 11 military targets.
The United States responded to the missile exchange between Israel and Hezbollah.
