Agreement between Israel and Hamas
Hamas and Israel recently approved an agreement for the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip and a ceasefire. On January 18, Tel Aviv was supposed to receive the names of the first three hostages to be released, but this did not happen. After that, Israel accused the Islamist movement of delaying the transfer of the lists. However, on the following day, January 19, Hamas released the hostages.
On January 25, the reports indicated that the Islamist movement released four Israeli female military hostages to the Red Cross.
