Kharkiv is not under threat due to the new wave of Russian advances in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

"Kharkiv currently faces no ground threat, as the enemy lacks sufficient offensive potential," emphasized Synegubov.

According to him, the Russian troops are attempting to advance towards the Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts, in the direction of Vovchansk.

"Our combat brigades met the enemy with fire. All offensive attacks have been repelled, and territorial losses have been prevented," noted the head of the Regional Military Administration.

As Syniehubov explained, active combat operations are taking place in areas of settlements located 1-2 kilometers from the border. He urged local residents to evacuate.

The head of the Regional Military Administration clarified that the Russian forces may cross the border with their equipment, but they are being destroyed.

He also added that for now, the enemy can only attack in small groups, which can even be called reconnaissance-diversionary. The occupiers are testing the positions of our military and always encounter resistance and fire in response.
