Despite Buckingham Palace's official statement six months ago announcing Kate Middleton's abdominal cancer remission, the Princess of Wales continues to raise concern with her appearance. Her significant weight loss is troubling both royal watchers and palace insiders, according to Radar Online.

Although Kate did not attend the Royal Ascot horse races in June — a traditional family event — she did appear at the Wimbledon final alongside Prince William and their two children: 12-year-old George and 10-year-old Charlotte.

The youngest son, 7-year-old Louis, stayed at home.

According to a source cited by Radar Online, Kate appeared in the stands of the tennis tournament looking alarmingly frail.

"Kate is painfully thin, and people are worried it's a sign that she is struggling with her recovery from cancer treatment – or worse, she's had a relapse," said a Palace insider.

According to insiders, the Princess, who is 175 cm tall, currently weighs only 42 kilograms.

"She's been through so much, and she wants to be there for the royal family and do her part, but clearly she's not well," added members of the royal circle.

According to those close to her, chemotherapy has had a strong impact on the Duchess's physical condition.

Due to a loss of appetite, Kate continues to lose weight, and her body, sources say, looks "gaunt and has little to no muscle tone."

In April, it seemed that the Princess had begun to recover — together with her husband and children, she went on a ski vacation to the French Alps.

In the vacation photos, Kate is smiling, appearing cheerful and active. However, it is now assumed that the bulky winter clothing may have concealed significant weight loss.

"Ow it was lovely to see Kate relaxing and having fun they looked like a normal English family, and a lot of people didn't recognize them," a resort employee told Page Six.

Today, however, the Palace is concerned — the Princess's physical condition has once again become a topic of discussion.

"She's been through an arduous journey. Chemotherapy is no walk in the park. It's left its mark on her," the insider concluded.

In March 2024, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton informed the public that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

In September, she shared that she had completed her course of chemotherapy.

And in January 2025, Prince William's wife announced that she was currently in remission.
