Iran has warned the United States against launching a ground operation, otherwise Tehran promises to set fire to American forces and increase attacks on US allies, states Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

Ghalibaf stated that Iranian forces are waiting for the arrival of American troops on the ground to set them ablaze and punish their regional partners forever.

“Our strikes continue. Our missiles are in position. Our determination and faith have grown,” he added.

In addition, Ghalibaf, who is considered one of Iran’s main negotiators, warned of possible attacks on US allies if America launches a ground operation.

The Iranian Parliament Speaker also described the US 15-point plan as their wishes. He stated that the administration of US leader Donald Trump is trying to achieve with this plan what it could not accomplish by force.

“As long as the Americans seek Iran's surrender, our response is clear: Far be it from us to accept humiliation,” Ghalibaf said.

Situation in the Middle East

A few days ago, Washington proposed a 15-point peace plan to Iran, the key element of which is the transfer of 440 kilograms of highly enriched uranium, currently stored in Iran, under international control.

Tehran criticized the US 15-point peace plan, calling it excessive, and put forward its own conditions for ending the conflict.

One of Iran’s key conditions is a complete cessation of attacks against its territory, followed by compensation for the damages the Islamic Republic has suffered during the hostilities.

Currently, the administration of US President Donald Trump is considering a ground operation in Iran, although recent statements have suggested a possible abandonment of this step.

However, the Pentagon has deployed Marines and warships to the Middle East, officially stated as a measure to deter Iran.

At present, Pakistan is being considered as the venue for US–Iran talks, which are expected to take place in the coming days, according to Trump.
