Iranian drones in the Russia-Ukraine war
Russia extensively uses Iranian drones for attacks on Ukrainian territory, including Shahed 131, 136, and Mohajer drones. Additionally, Russia, following the onset of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, has started building a drone production plant on its territory.
Russia uses Iranian Mohajer-6 drones for reconnaissance over the Black Sea and for targeting strikes along the coast.
In August 2023, Iran announced the creation of the advanced Mohajer-10 drone, with a flight duration sufficient to reach the country’s enemy, Israel.
