Iran threatens missile strike on US

Tehran has declared it will no longer tolerate insults and warned that in the event of escalation, it will "not hesitate to unveil its real capabilities," according to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his post on the social media platform X.
He stated that if US President Donald Trump is truly interested in reaching agreements, he should abandon his offensive tone toward Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and stop using rhetoric that insults millions of his supporters.
Araghchi stressed that the Iranian people, who "showed the world that the Israeli regime had NO CHOICE but to RUN to 'Daddy' to avoid being flattened by our Missiles," will not tolerate threats and insults.
The minister warned that if the situation escalates, Iran is ready to demonstrate its real capabilities, which "will certainly END any Delusion about the Power of Iran."
"Good will begets good will, and respect begets respect," the Iranian foreign minister wrote.
US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities
On the night of June 22, US forces struck several nuclear facilities across Iran, including sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The Pentagon later stated that the strikes had destroyed Iran’s nuclear program.
On June 26, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei made his first public statement since the start of the Iran-Israel war, congratulating the Iranian people on their "victory” over Israel and the US, and declaring that "the Zionist regime was practically knocked out."
In response, Donald Trump said the US had "beaten to hell" Iran and did not rule out further strikes in the future.
