Iran threatens EU country over support for US

Iran has warned Bulgaria over plans to host US aircraft on its territory, saying such a move would amount to "an accomplice of aggressors," Reuters informs.
Iran's Foreign Ministry urged Bulgaria not to become "an accomplice of aggressors and lawbreakers." The ministry warned that any assistance to the United States in military operations against Tehran would carry political consequences for Bulgaria.
The statement came after Bulgarian President Rumen Radev proposed that parliament approve the deployment of US military aircraft in the country.
Earlier today, US President Donald Trump said the United States had not finished its war with Iran and had no intention of leaving. He also claimed it would take Iran 20 to 25 years to rebuild if the conflict ended immediately.
Meanwhile, Axios reported that despite the exchange of strikes between the United States and Iran, negotiations between the two sides are continuing. According to sources, however, a ceasefire ultimately depends on a decision by Donald Trump.
Trump is reportedly determined to make Tehran pay for the attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and the deaths of US service members.
In addition, The Washington Post recently reported that the United States is preparing for a broader military confrontation.
According to the newspaper, the Pentagon is already expanding its presence in the Middle East by deploying additional combat aircraft to the region.
