Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei made his first statement after being elected to the position, according to Sky News and CNBC. He filled his speech with threats.

The new Iranian leader stressed that all US military bases in the Middle East must be immediately closed and that these bases will be attacked.

He also said the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz must continue as a “tool to pressure the enemy.”

The supreme leader stated that Iran is attacking only foreign bases in surrounding countries and believes in friendship with its neighbors.

Khamenei thanked "the people of Iran from all walks of life who stood against the enemy".

As Iran’s supreme leader clarified, compensation will be provided to those who lost their loved ones during the war.

“Iran will not refrain from avenging the blood of its martyrs,” he threatened.

Trump does not rule out killing Khamenei

Israel and the United States eliminated Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at the beginning of the operation Epic Fury, or Roaring Lion.

After that, the Assembly of Experts elected a new supreme leader. It became Ali Khamenei’s son, Mojtaba.

Several days ago, US President Donald Trump did not rule out that the American military could also eliminate Mojtaba Khamenei if he refused to comply with US demands.

Today, March 12, it became known that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured during a US airstrike earlier.
