The recent US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities caused massive and serious damage, states Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"I must say the damage is extensive and serious, but whether IAEA inspectors should come and be fully informed is a decision that must be made in accordance with the parliament’s law," the minister said.

He also added that the final decision on the matter must be made by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities

On the night of June 22, the US Navy carried out strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The attack involved powerful bunker-busting bombs capable of penetrating deep underground structures.

According to the US Department of Defense, the strikes completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear program and the ambitions of the Iranian regime.

However, American media reported that the strikes did not fully destroy the three targeted nuclear facilities.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth criticized those spreading such claims.

According to President Trump, the Iranian authorities did not manage to remove uranium enrichment centrifuges and other equipment from the Fordow facility before the attack.
