Apple is likely to radically reduce the size of the Dynamic Island. Leaks suggest that the tech giant is moving closer to its ultimate goal — creating a smartphone that is 100% screen, according to Early Apple on X.

The main rumor for fans of the brand is that Dynamic Island will become significantly smaller. According to insiders, the cutout area will shrink by 25–35% compared to current iPhone models.

Apple has developed a new Face ID system and a 24 MP front camera that take up significantly less space under the glass. This is likely an intermediate step before the release of the anniversary iPhone 20 (XX), where all sensors are expected to be completely hidden under the display matrix.

Innovative processor and top-tier camera

Most likely, the iPhone 18 Pro will undergo equally major changes inside. The smartphone is expected to become the most powerful device on the market thanks to unique engineering solutions:

A20 Pro chip: Apple is the first in the industry to switch to a 2-nanometer process. This means even faster performance with lower energy consumption — the battery will last longer even under peak load.

Variable aperture camera: the main 48 MP sensor will now be able to physically adjust its aperture. This will allow photographers to take clearer shots at night without digital noise and create more natural background blur.

Gemini AI assistant: Apple Intelligence features will become smarter thanks to deep integration with Google technologies.

When to expect the new release?

The official release of the iPhone 18 Pro lineup is expected in September 2026. Although there is still a lot of time before the premiere, current CAD file leaks are usually among the most accurate, as accessory manufacturers already begin preparing cases and protective glass based on them.
