iPhone 17 may feature complete camera redesign
Although the Apple iPhone 16 series smartphones were released only a few months ago, early leaks already provide hints about the design of the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup. According to the information, the rear panel of the devices will undergo significant changes, reports the Chinese technology website Gizmochina.
In renders published by Insider Digital Chat Station on the Weibo platform, the camera module is shown in a pill shape, resembling the base iPhone 16, but with a different arrangement - it looks more similar to the camera design on the Google Pixel 9.

The images show three camera sensors and an LED flash. This may refer to the iPhone 17 Pro model. It is also noted that Android manufacturers could adopt a similar design. Additionally, leaked information suggests the presence of a dedicated camera button on the side of the device.
The renders indicate the boldest design changes to the iPhone in recent years. While the camera specifications remain unknown, rumors are circulating about a new iPhone 17 Air, which could be 2 mm thinner than the iPhone 16. However, given the early stage of the leaks, these details should be taken with some skepticism.
