Ukrainian forces continue to hold Toretsk and Chasiv Yar. Intense fighting is currently ongoing in the urban areas, informs Khortytskyi Viter.
"High-intensity combat continued in the urban areas of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk on the Kramatorsk and Toretsk fronts," the report states.
Additionally, Russian forces attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense near Stupochky and Bilya Hora.
"The enemy actively used artillery and drones. The deterioration of the tactical situation has been prevented," the press service of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops confirmed.

Frontline situation Over the past 24 hours, on February 1, there were 110 combat engagements. The most intense fighting occurred near Pokrovsk.
According to the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently advanced in the Toretsk area, particularly in the northern part of the city. Meanwhile, Russian occupiers are reported to be advancing near Chasiv Yar, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove.
