Inside Meghan Markle's makeup bag: Expert shares her beauty tips

Meghan Markle recently gave a glimpse into her makeup bag during a trip to New York, and a well-known beauty expert analyzed her choices in detail. The Duchess of Sussex spent several days in New York attending various events and meeting her celebrity friends. The Daily Express shares what can be found in a royal's makeup bag.

Harry and Meghan were also recognized as Humanitarians of the Year at the World Mental Health Day Festival by Project Healthy Minds. After the trip, Meghan shared a new video on her Instagram page showing moments from their time in the Big Apple. In the video, Meghan showcased a range of expensive clothing and shoes she wore during the luxurious trip, and included a clip of herself applying makeup while sitting at the Sussexes' hotel room vanity.
Now, The Telegraph's beauty editor, Sonia Haria, conducted her own "forensic analysis" of the duchess's makeup choices.
Hariah identified many products in Meghan's slightly blurred photo and noted that for foundation, the duchess chose the No Makeup Makeup product created by her friend Victoria Jackson.
She also spotted a mini version of Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray and said it was award-winning for "good reason."

"It sets any makeup beneath it for 16 hours of wear, and it is waterproof, too. While there are many setting sprays on the market, this one is particularly good for leaving a hydrated look on the skin," the beauty expert explained.
Meghan Markle's favorites
Hariah further noted that Meghan most likely used the No Makeup Makeup Creme Classic Lipstick in the shade Pink 02, a subtle lilac-pink tone. Another product from the same brand was also spotted in the photo: Blush and Lip Color, likely in the shade Peach.
The expert also identified Tom Ford's Shade & Illuminate Contour Duo and Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder, both favorites for creating perfect contouring and setting makeup.
Among brushes, she spotted the Westman Atelier Baby Blender Brush and Real Techniques Tapered Cheek Makeup Brush. Some jars from Paris Berlin were also identified.
The beauty expert summarized her verdict on Meghan Markle's beauty products.
"It's an edit of products that certainly won't appeal to everyone, and indeed, not at the price point that many of them command. But there are some items—most likely inspired by her make-up artist—that really will stand the test of time," she added.
