In early June, the Russian army destroyed the building of the Kherson Regional Military Administration with its strikes. Photos of the building’s interior have emerged, according to the First Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Council, Yurii Sobolevskyi.

He reminded that the Russian forces had launched several missiles and guided aerial bombs at the building.

"Since the city's liberation, this building has not been used for either civilian or military purposes. It was empty," Sobolevskyi added.

He noted that such an attack is yet another act of terrorism by Russia, as the Regional Military Administration building is surrounded by residential buildings. During one of the attacks, a guided aerial bomb hit an apartment block.

Strikes on the Kherson Regional Military Administration building

On June 5, Russian forces struck the building of the Kherson Regional Military Administration twice with guided aerial bombs.

As a result of the second strike, the building was effectively destroyed.

Following the attack, the Russian army fabricated claims that the administration building housed a so-called "drone control center" and "foreign mercenaries."

The Center for Countering Disinformation called this narrative a typical piece of propaganda and disinformation.
