Explosions in Crimea

Explosions periodically occur in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, often linked to the actions of Ukrainian special services and local resistance. In many cases, these are attacks on military infrastructure, ammunition depots, logistical hubs, or other sites of strategic importance to the Russian occupiers.

In early May, Russians complained about a massive attack by unidentified aerial objects on Crimea. Explosions were heard in various parts of the peninsula, and enemy air defense systems were activated.
