Injured toll from Russian attack on Kyiv rises to 15

Kyiv came under a ballistic missile attack overnight on July 19. Following updated information, authorities reported that the number of people injured in the attack had increased, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS).
"Emergency response efforts following the Russian attack on the capital are ongoing. According to updated information, the number of injured people has risen to 15," the DSNS said.
Emergency and rescue operations are currently underway in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where firefighters have contained fires at non-residential buildings and in open areas. Rescuers are also working in the Solomianskyi district at the site where a five-story residential building was damaged.
Meanwhile, fires in the Desnianskyi district and at one location in the Solomianskyi district have already been extinguished.
Earlier reports said that one person was killed in the Russian ballistic missile attack.
Information about the full extent of the damage is still being clarified.

Kyiv attack on July 19
Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv overnight on July 19.
Strikes and falling debris were reported in five districts of the capital: Shevchenkivskyi, Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Desnianskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi.
Residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi districts suffered the most significant damage.
Fires also broke out at office and non-residential buildings, a supermarket, a dormitory, and a private home, while several vehicles caught fire.
