India to send envoy to Moscow to discuss peace efforts on Ukraine
National Security Advisor to the Indian Prime Minister Ajit Doval will visit Moscow. In Russia, he will discuss peace efforts in Ukraine, reports India Today.
According to the Indian newspaper's sources, the Indian Prime Minister's advisor will arrive in Moscow on September 10-11 to participate in a meeting of BRICS security officials. He will meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and discuss peace efforts to resolve Russia's war against Ukraine.
Doval will also hold bilateral meetings with his Russian and Chinese counterparts, with the possibility of continuing the discussions of the July summit in Moscow.
The BRICS is a group of 10 countries, including Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia.
India's peace efforts
