In Yekaterinburg, Russia, a large fire broke out on the territory of the Uralmash machine-building plant. The fire has spread to an area of several thousand square meters, according to the Shot Telegram channel.

According to the channel, the fire likely occurred in workshop No. 57, where 500 liters of paint were stored. Plumes of black smoke can be seen from any part of the city.

The fire area has increased to 4,000 square meters. The building's structural load complicates firefighting. At the scene, 52 personnel and 17 pieces of equipment are working.

Uralmash is one of the leading enterprises in the terrorist country in the production of equipment for:

  • metallurgy;
  • mining industry;
  • industrial materials industry;
  • energy.

The plant also manufactures excavators, drilling equipment, cone crushers, rod and ball mills, and more.

Drone attacks on Russia

Recently, four regions of Russia were attacked by drones, resulting in damage to multi-story buildings and a business center. In particular, a fire occurred in one of the private houses.

In March, an oil refinery in the Samara region caught fire. At the same time, eyewitnesses also claimed a drone attack.

During the current year, 15 attacks were carried out against Russian oil refineries. Eight refineries with a total installed capacity of 83 million tons annually sustained significant damage.
