In Ukraine, new mobile air defense units created
Ukraine has created new mobile air defense fire groups that protect Ukrainian skies from enemy missiles and drones not only on land but also on water, according to Serhii Naev, commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Military sailors from a separate river division have been honing their skills for a year. I observed several times and was involved in improving their efficiency," Naev writes.
According to him, as a result of these actions, new mobile fire groups were formed to defend the Ukrainian sky in the Northern Operational Zone not only on land but also on water.
Russia's latest attack on Ukraine and air defense successes
Last night, on December 19, Russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with kamikaze drones, firing two Shaheds. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down all enemy targets.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the kamikaze drones were flying from the south through the central regions in the direction of Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the drones were launched from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area of the Russian Federation and destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces in the Khmelnytskyi region.
