In Kharkiv, over 50 people affected by Russian shelling since morning
Over 50 people have already been injured in a Russian rocket attack on Kharkiv on January 2. One more person was killed, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"Kharkiv. As a result of the morning attack, 50 people (including 6 children) were injured, and one person died," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine says in a statement.
All fires have been extinguished so far. Rescuers are conducting further exploration and checking the residential premises.
The number of victims is over 50
The number of victims of the shelling of Kharkiv continues to grow.
"Currently, the number of wounded has increased to 52 people, including 6 children," the Regional Prosecutor's Office says.

On the morning of January 2, Russian troops launched a new massive attack on Ukraine, including four missile strikes, allegedly with Kinzhal missiles, against Kharkiv. The attack caused several fires in the city. In particular, a warehouse and a kiosk were on fire. Initially, 6 people were reported injured, later 20 injured and one dead. According to the latest data, there were 47 victims. There are 16 people in hospitals, including two children.
