The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) today, on September 19, attacked several dozen Hezbollah rocket launchers. Other militant targets were also hit, according to the IDF's Telegram channel.

"With the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF struck approximately 30 Hezbollah launchers and terrorist infrastructure sites, containing approximately 150 launcher barrels that were ready to fire projectiles toward Israeli territory," the Israeli military command said.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also struck Hezbollah infrastructure and a weapons depot in several areas in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, IDF artillery targeted the area near the Lebanese town of Naqoura.

The IDF assured that they will continue operations against the threat posed by Hezbollah militants.

Background

Earlier today, on September 19, it was reported that Israeli aircraft carried out strikes on several Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

Photos and videos shared online showed thick smoke rising after the strikes.

The goal of these attacks is to eliminate the threat posed by Hezbollah to northern Israel, allowing local residents to return to their homes.
