IDF publishes video of last moments of new Hamas leader's life
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the elimination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. According to IDF reports, the operation took place in the city of Rafah, reports the IDF.
The IDF and the Shin Bet security service worked for several months to gather intelligence and eliminate Sinwar, Israeli armed forces stated.
"Israel will continue to pursue and destroy anyone who threatens the citizens of the State of Israel. We will not stop until we capture all terrorists," said Israeli military Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
Today, October 17, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirmed that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has been eliminated. Israel emphasized that he was responsible for the attack on October 7.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that evil has suffered a heavy blow. However, the task facing Israel, according to Netanyahu, is not yet complete.
