'I’m with Ukraine' - Trump makes statement of continued support for Ukraine

US President Donald Trump wants to continue supporting Ukraine. But his main goal is to stop the bloodshed, stated the American leader during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.
Journalists asked Trump whether he would continue to support Ukraine.
"Yeah, I’m with Ukraine. We just signed a big deal on rare earth with Ukraine, and…You know what I'm for, stopping killing, really, that’s what I’m for again," Trump said.
Trump added that Russia's war against Ukraine should never have started.
The American leader also reiterated that the US had allegedly spent $350 billion and Europe over $100 billion on aid to Ukraine. But it's not even about the money.
"It’s a little bit money, but not the money. The big thing, the big thing is the death," Trump said.
"You've lost the whole culture. Ukraine had the most beautiful turrets, the most beautiful in the world. They're all now lying on their side, blown to smithereens. They have taken away the culture of a country, the heritage of a country. But most importantly is the death: over 5,000 people a week," Trump said.
US aid to Ukraine
US President Donald Trump has been trying to maintain balance between Ukraine and Russia since coming to power.
In particular, he has already put pressure on Ukraine by suspending military aid and intelligence sharing. This aid was promised by Joe Biden's administration — Trump has not announced any new deliveries.
At the same time, the American leader has only threatened Russia with tough sanctions. A corresponding bill has already been submitted to Congress, but without Trump's green light, it is not yet being considered.
