'I'm back': Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes Santa Claus in new Christmas comedy

Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in a Christmas comedy, but this time he is playing Santa Claus himself. The first trailer for The Man with the Bag has been released online, showing his character on a mission to recover Santa’s magical bag and save Christmas.
What we know about The Man with the Bag
In the movie, Schwarzenegger's character finds himself in a difficult situation just before Christmas. One of Santa's helpers, played by Awkwafina, steals his magical bag.
To get back his most important Christmas accessory and save the holiday, Santa turns to Vince, a former thief, for help. The role is played by Alan Ritchson.
Interestingly, The Man with the Bag marks Schwarzenegger and Ritchson’s first movie together. Despite both actors’ experience in action films, they find themselves at the center of a lighthearted holiday story this time.

The cast also includes Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Ken Jeong, Jane Krakowski, Michael Cyril Creighton, Adrián Martínez, Roger Bart, and others.
The comedy is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 2, 2026.
This is not Schwarzenegger's first Christmas comedy. In 1996, he starred in Jingle All the Way, and now, 30 years later, he is returning to the holiday genre as Santa Claus.
