Those who wanted to leave Oleshky have departed for a safe location, while a humanitarian mission is completing the evacuation of more than 750 people. The ceasefire is holding, with no violations reported, according to Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets and US First Lady Melania Trump.

Ukrainians who wished to leave are now leaving Oleshky. Humanitarian aid has been successfully delivered to the area.

The US side says the evacuation convoy included 25 buses, 50 medical personnel, and ambulances.

All arrangements for safe passage were agreed upon during talks between the Ukrainian and Russian leaders, coordinated by US First Lady Melania Trump.

"Those who wanted to leave for Ukraine have now been able to depart Oleshky. They are currently on their way. Humanitarian aid has been delivered," Lubinets said.

The ombudsman emphasized that a ceasefire has been in effect in the mission's area for 87 consecutive hours, with no violations reported.

The humanitarian mission operates under agreements reached earlier with Russian human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova.

US First Lady Melania Trump's support also played an important role.

"Our priority: saving lives," Melania Trump wrote on X, commenting on preparations for the convoy to evacuate people safely.

As reported, on October 30, a Ukrainian delegation and the evacuated residents of Oleshky set out for Anapa.

Earlier that day, October 30, the Ukrainian delegation arrived in Oleshky, after which the city began evacuating residents and distributing humanitarian aid.

Also, on October 27, it was reported that a ceasefire had begun in Oleshky and would remain in effect until November 1.
