Dollar exchange rates in Ukrainian exchange offices continue to decline, euro has also depreciated, as market monitoring data shows.

As of the morning of July 6th, the average exchange rate for the dollar in Ukraine fell by 5 kopecks to 37.35 hryvnia, and the euro rate decreased by 5 kopecks to 41.00 hryvnia per euro.

In exchange offices, the average buying rate for the dollar is 36.85 hryvnia, and for the euro, it is 40.30 hryvnia.

The official exchange rate for the dollar, as determined by the National Bank of Ukraine, was fixed on July 21st of the previous year at 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official euro rate on July 6th is 39.7848 hryvnia per euro (-0.0695 hryvnia).

The situation in the foreign exchange market

According to the data from the National Bank of Ukraine, the average selling rate for the cash dollar in Ukraine in June 2023 decreased by 0.9% to 37.24 hryvnia, reaching the lowest level since May 2022. Compared to December 2022, the rate has decreased by 7.3%.

As noted by the National Bank of Ukraine, a sustainable level of international reserves improves exchange rate expectations in Ukraine, which has contributed to the improvement in the foreign exchange market.
