Many people always look for the best ways to achieve younger-looking skin and often turn to cosmetic injections like Botox. However, these can be avoided with simple methods, according to the Express website.

Cosmetologist Keyana Emamian, who has been working in the beauty industry for a long time, shared her skincare secrets that anyone can easily follow at home.

"Many of us have our own skincare needs, goals and routines depending on our skin types, but there are a few things that we can all do to achieve healthier complexions," the expert noted.

Daily cleansing

It's essential to use a facial cleanser every day to remove dead skin cells, oil, dirt, makeup, and other pollutants. This helps keep the pores clean and prevents skin issues.

"Cleansing each day is very important to remove any impurities and let your skin breathe. I never go to sleep with makeup on, I always make sure I use a gentle cleanser before I go to bed," the expert noted.

Moisturizing the skin

Moisturizing can help firm the skin, make wrinkles and lines less noticeable, and essentially make the skin look younger. It also helps prevent dryness, which can quickly lead to tightness, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Daily moisturizing is crucial for maintaining the skin's protective barrier, reducing water loss, and avoiding environmental pollutants.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen should be a key part of everyone’s skincare routine, especially during the summer months.

It helps protect against sunburn, skin cancer, and premature aging. However, to achieve a younger appearance, beauty enthusiasts should avoid excessive sun exposure and artificial tanning, as both can accelerate aging.

Drinking water

Water not only hydrates and rejuvenates the body but also helps maintain skin elasticity, contributing to a younger appearance.

"What we put in our bodies has a real impact on our skin, so I ensure I drink at least two litres of water per day and follow a healthy diet," the expert added.

Sleep

Adequate sleep is highly beneficial for the skin, promoting proper blood circulation and allowing skin cells to regenerate. It is recommended to sleep for at least 7 hours a day.

The cosmetologist also highlighted that exfoliation is an important part of maintaining a healthy complexion. It helps remove dead skin cells and impurities, giving the skin a brighter and smoother appearance.
