Winter is approaching, and your immune system needs constant support. Prepare delicious and healthy tea preserves at home using sea buckthorn and cranberries. This simple recipe helps retain the vitamins and natural flavor of the berries for months, according to Ukrainian food blogger Anna Stankevich’s Instagram page.
Recipe for “live” tea preserves
For sea buckthorn tea, you will need:
- Sea buckthorn – 300 g;
- Orange – 1;
- Lemon – 1;
- Honey – 100 g;
- Cloves, sliced lemon wedges.
Cranberry-ginger tea:
- Cranberries – 200 g;
- Orange – 1;
- Lemon – 1;
- Honey – 100 g;
- Fresh ginger – 50–100 g;
- Star anise, fresh rosemary, sliced ginger.
Preparation method
Chop all the ingredients and blend them in a blender. Freeze the mixture in ice cube trays.
To make tea, simply pour hot water over a tea cube and sweeten to taste if desired.
