A juicy pork steak in a pan is a dream for any foodie. To keep the meat tender and full of flavor, it’s important to know the subtleties of preparation and proper cooking techniques, according to the Instagram page of Ukrainian chef Oleksandr Ohorodnyk.
How to cook a steak correctly

Meat should be at room temperature;

Pat dry with paper towel before cooking;

Add salt and pepper only before frying;

Pan should be well heated before frying;
According to the expert, sear until golden crust forms. For a 150 g steak about 2.5 cm thick, fry 2 min on each side.
Then fry for 1 more minute with butter and rosemary. Next, wrap the steak in foil and let rest for 3–5 min.
The main guide is temperature. Ideally 63–65 °C in the center.
"This approach works for any steak, but time varies depending on thickness and weight. Temperature is the only consistent guide," the expert said.
