It is entirely possible to recharge your body with energy without any energy drinks. This can be done without caffeine using simple methods.

RBC-Ukraine reports on what to do in the morning to boost energy for the whole day.

Move your body

Nutritionist Nancy Ranama shared that exercise is a very effective way to energize the body without caffeine. Exercises or even a simple brisk walk can be a great way to boost energy.

Exercise provides energy to the cells. It also triggers the release of endorphins and a chemical called norepinephrine, which helps you feel alert.

Eat energy-boosting foods

Consuming the right foods can help maintain a stable energy level throughout the day.

Foods with a low glycemic index, where sugar is absorbed slowly, can help avoid the energy crash that often occurs after consuming quickly absorbed sugars or refined starches.

Low glycemic index foods include whole grains, high-fiber vegetables, nuts, and healthy oils such as olive oil. In general, foods high in carbohydrates have the highest glycemic index, while proteins and fats have a glycemic index close to zero.

Healthy snacks

Keep your energy level stable with healthy snacks. Try eating a nutritious snack, such as an apple with peanut butter or Greek yogurt, instead of coffee.

To get the most energy, focus on catching up on lost sleep by going to bed early.

Stay hydrated

Drinking water can help combat fatigue. If your body is lacking fluids, one of the first signs is feeling sleepy and extremely tired.

Therefore, it is important to consistently keep your body hydrated.

Smart sleep habits

Quality sleep will help you achieve success without caffeine. One of the best things you can do to boost your energy is to get enough rest.

Try going to bed about 15 minutes earlier or taking a nap after lunch for the next few weeks to see if it improves how you feel.

Avoid alcohol

Consuming alcohol can negatively affect your energy levels. Therefore, avoid alcoholic drinks to stay alert.

The calming effect of alcohol is especially strong around midday. If you plan to drink, do so in moderation.

Breathing technique

Breathing exercises can help boost energy. The "double breathing" technique can increase alertness by stimulating the sympathetic nervous system.

To try it, simply inhale through your nose, starting with a short, sharp breath and ending with a longer one. Then exhale through your mouth following the same pattern. Repeat five times with a short break in between.
