What is known
The figures mentioned were revealed after the publication of the annual income report. This year, the Duchy of Cornwall generated excess profit from rentals and investments, though the amount was $516,485 less than in 2023. However, this is the first year that William and Kate have fully received the entire sum.
Additionally, William, a devoted football fan, has been appointed as the patron of the Football Association of England. This title was previously held by his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The King’s eldest son will also assume new patronages with the Welsh Guards Charity and the Royal Agricultural Association of Cornwall and will take on the role of President of the Victoria and George Cross Association.

Additionally, the heir to the British throne will transition from being the president to the patron of Fields in Trust, an organization dedicated to preserving parks and green spaces across Britain.
As for the Duchy of Cornwall, it was established in 1337 by King Edward III, who aimed to secure the financial well-being of his descendants.
The estate spans 130,000 acres across 23 counties in England and Wales and includes farms, houses, and other assets that help William financially support his family.
