Most Ukrainians (62%) are ready to endure the war for as long as necessary. Public resilience remains stable despite intensified Russian attacks, according to the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).

Sociologists say the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians remain prepared for a prolonged confrontation:

  • 62% of respondents say they are ready to endure the war for as long as necessary
  • 4% say they are prepared for a relatively long period—one year
  • 23% are ready to endure it for a shorter period—several months or six months
  • 11% were unable to decide.

Compared with the previous survey conducted in late July and early August, the figures have remained virtually unchanged.
