High-rise buildings in thick smoke: Video of aftermath of strike on Sumy emerge

Russian forces launched a missile strike on Sumy today, March 24. A video of the aftermath has emerged, according to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, on Telegram and the State Emergency Service on Facebook.
"Sumy after the Russian strike. This is how Putin (Russian President Vladimir Putin - ed.) 'stops' attacking civilians," Yermak wrote, publishing a video of the aftermath.
Yermak reminded that, as of now, 74 people are known to be injured, including children.
Rescuers, in turn, reported that after the attack, they evacuated 40 children and 16 adults. Fires in apartments of a five-story building and a private house have been extinguished.
Strike on Sumy
Russian forces launched missiles at the center of Sumy today, leaving dozens of civilians injured. Apartment buildings and a school were damaged.
Some residential buildings have been left without gas, hot and cold water, as well as heating.

This attack comes amid statements by former US President Donald Trump that Russia had allegedly agreed to stop attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
