Hezbollah fires hundreds of shells at Israel - IDF
In the past 24 hours, an unidentified drone attacked Israel from Syria, while Hezbollah militants fired on the country more than 200 times, according to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
It is reported that on the evening of October 11, an unidentified drone crossed into Israeli territory from Syria and crashed in an open area in the northern Golan Heights. No injuries have been reported.
Additionally, as of 11:00 PM on Friday (Israel time), Hezbollah terrorists launched approximately 230 shells from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Escalation in the Middle East
In recent months, military confrontations between Israel and Lebanon have significantly intensified. Hezbollah militants are shelling Israel while the IDF carries out retaliatory strikes against Lebanon.
Last week, the IDF initiated a ground operation against the militants, with IDF troops entering Lebanese territory to push the fighters away from the border.
Recently, the Israeli army attacked the center of Beirut, targeting a Hezbollah official, Wafiq Safa.
Israeli forces also eliminated Hezbollah liaison Adham Jahout.
At the end of September, Israeli Air Force struck the suburbs of Beirut, killing Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
