Helicopter crashes into hospital building in Türkiye: Four people died
A medical helicopter crashed in Türkiye on Sunday, December 22. Four people died in the crash, the Turkish Ministry of Health reports on X (Twitter).
The accident occurred in the province of Muğla in south-eastern Türkiye. A lifeguard helicopter crashed into a hospital building.
Four people died: two pilots, a doctor, and his assistant.
The cause of the accident could be dense fog. The helicopter crashed shortly after takeoff. It is likely that the pilots were unable to navigate in difficult weather conditions. After hitting a building, the helicopter lost control and crashed into an empty lot.
According to police, there is no suspicion of a terrorist attack.
In August, Ukraine lost one of the recently received F-16 aircraft. It happened during a massive Russian attack on August 26. The crash killed experienced pilot Oleksiy Mes “Moonfish”.
In the fall, an F-18 fighter jet crashed in Spain. The pilot did not have time to evacuate and died.
