Climatologist and weather historian Maximiliano Herrera warns citizens about "extraordinary heat in Europe" on X (formerly Twitter).
What is known about the wave of extreme heat in Europe
According to the information published by Herrera, Europe is experiencing extreme heat, setting "Thousands of records."
"Italy is the only exception where not a single record has ever been broken," the expert clarified.
He also reported that the record heat has been moving from west to east "since months."
"Next days again the same: thousands of records West to East to West again," the climatologist wrote on Sunday, June 22.
