Healthy chicken and veggie rice is perfect for weight loss

Light rice with vegetables and chicken will become not only a favorite dish but also a reliable ally in the fight for a slim figure. It is easy to prepare, nutritious, and rich in protein, says Ukrainian food blogger Alex Mil.
Rice with vegetables and chicken: Easy recipe
While losing weight, this dish is perfect for dinner or lunch.
To prepare it, you will need the following ingredients:
- chicken or turkey fillet – 300 g
- boiled rice – 500 g
- corn – 150 g
- onion – 120 g
- bell pepper – 120 g
- carrot – 120 g
- green onion – 50 g
- soy sauce – 30 g
- salt, pepper, and dried garlic
- oil for frying – 15 g
Total cooking time: 20 min, total portion weight: 1400 g.
Per 100 g of the dish:
- calories – 91
- protein – 6.7 g
- fat – 1.6 g
- carbohydrates – 12.4 g
Method of preparation
First, sauté the onion and carrot in oil for 5 minutes. Add finely chopped fillet, salt, pepper, and dried garlic. Stir and fry for 7 minutes.

Next, add the pepper and, stirring, fry for another 5–6 minutes. Add the boiled rice, corn, green onion, and a bit of soy sauce.

Finally, mix everything thoroughly, and the dish is ready.
