The stars of the cult Harry Potter franchise, Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton, reunited after many years apart. The actors met on December 1 in New York during a special screening of the film "Merrily We Roll Along" at the Hudson Theatre, where Radcliffe plays the lead role, according to People.

The media captured the moment of their first meeting in more than 10 years. Upon seeing each other, the actors shared a warm hug and spent a few minutes talking right in the hall where the audience was gathering.

They later posed for photos together. Their first public picture since 2011, when they last appeared side by side at the premiere of the final film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

Radcliffe is now 36, and Felton is 38. They met as children during the filming of the first movie, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," which premiered 24 years ago.

In the franchise, Radcliffe played Harry Potter, while Felton portrayed his main school rival, Draco Malfoy.

Despite the tense on-screen relationship between their characters, the actors remained close friends in real life.

Earlier, Tom Felton admitted that it was Radcliffe who inspired him to try performing on Broadway.

He said that he first saw Daniel on stage more than ten years ago, and now Daniel is already a Tony Award winner.

Felton is currently making his Broadway debut in the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," where he has once again returned to the role of Draco Malfoy.

The production tells the story of Harry's and Draco's children growing up and has been running on the New York stage for seven years.

During Thanksgiving week, the show grossed over $3.15 million, setting a box-office record.

Audiences are also delighted by an unexpected bit of fan service. Before the duel scene, Felton recreates one of Draco's most famous lines, covering his face with his hand and addressing Potter.

Radcliffe himself has not yet had the chance to see Felton in "The Cursed Child," but earlier he admitted that he was moved by his colleague's words about his influence.

The actor noted that he always considered Tom "cooler" because he was older and more authoritative on set.

In addition, in 2026, Radcliffe will return to Broadway in the solo production "Every Brilliant Thing." Previews begin in February, and the official premiere is scheduled for March.

For now, the actor can be seen on the big screen in the film "Merrily We Roll Along," which is set for release on December 5.
