Hamas hands over another group of Israeli hostages to Red Cross
Hamas militants handed over to the Red Cross six more Israeli citizens who had been held captive, according to The Times of Israel.
According to preliminary reports, six more prisoners are currently on their way to Israel via Egypt, where IDF soldiers will meet them.
Security officials will verify the identity of the released hostages at the meeting point. IDF representatives are updating the families of the hostages with the latest available information.
It is worth noting that earlier, Hamas released two more hostages, identified as 21-year-old Mia Shem and 40-year-old Amit Sussan.
Release of Hamas hostages
Last week, Israel signed an agreement with Hamas on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages. The first group of hostages was released on November 24 and taken to Israeli hospitals.
The next day, Hamas released and handed over a group of 17 people to the Red Cross. The third group of 17 released from Hamas captivity was received by the Red Cross on November 26.
In addition, Hamas released three minor French hostages.
