The number of casualties in Israel as a result of the HAMAS offensive has now exceeded 700 people, according to The Times of Israel.
According to anonymous sources cited by the edition, the death toll in Israel due to the HAMAS attack on the Jewish state has surpassed 700 individuals.
However, Israeli forces continue to combat HAMAS militants, clearing out populated areas along the border, and discovering more bodies of Israeli citizens.
Furthermore, over 2,100 individuals have been injured in Israel as of today.

Yesterday morning, militants from the terrorist group HAMAS infiltrated Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip and engaged in combat with Israeli forces. HAMAS managed to capture several populated areas.
By evening, Israeli military forces had regained control of the majority of the territory and conducted strikes on military targets and HAMAS headquarters in response.
Israel declared a "state of war" and initiated the counterterrorism operation "Operation Iron Swords" in response to the HAMAS attack.
