Summer is the perfect time for light and delicious desserts that refresh and benefit the body. Ukrainian nutritionist Solomiia Naum shares five ideas for healthy treats you can easily make at home and enjoy without harming your health.
Light summer dessert with berries
Ingredients:
- Soft cream cheese – 170 g
- Milk – 50 ml
- Gelatin – 5 g
- Berries – 50 g
- Stevia
First, dissolve the gelatin in slightly warmed milk. Stir until the gelatin fully dissolves.
Combine the cheese, berries, and stevia. Blend everything for 2–3 minutes. Pour the mixture into molds and refrigerate for 1–2 hours.

Banana pancakes (2 servings)
Ingredients:
- Banana – 1 pc (about 100 g)
- Eggs – 2 pcs
Slice the banana and blend it together with the eggs until smooth.
Fry thin pancakes in a non-stick pan. Divide into two servings. Serve each portion with 50 g of 5% cottage cheese.

Diet ice cream (2 servings)
Ingredients:
- Yogurt – 300 g
- Berries – 300 g (frozen)
- Stevia – to taste
Blend all the ingredients well, divide into two molds, and freeze for a few hours. Use 1/2 of the prepared ice cream per serving.

Chocolate smoothie
Ingredients:
- Raw oats – 10 g
- Cherries or any whole berries – 100 g
- Cocoa – 1 tsp
- Banana – 100 g
- Chia or flax seeds – 15 g
- Water – 200 ml
Blend all ingredients and pour into a glass.

Banana ice cream (2 servings)
Ingredients:
- Banana – 100 g
- Any berries – 50 g
- Milk (1.5%) – 100 ml
- Stevia – to taste
Pre-freeze the banana, then blend it with cold milk, berries, and stevia. Pour the mixture into two cups and put them in the freezer.
