Guided bomb strike on Kharkiv: Prosecutors reveal photos of aftermath
Russian forces struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs today, October 8, and photos of the aftermath have emerged, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram,
The strikes on Kharkiv and its suburbs occurred between 4:50 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. (Kyiv time).

In the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv, a bomb hit near a body of water in a densely populated residential area, killing a 69-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man. Five others were injured, and residential buildings were damaged.
Another hit was recorded in the village of Cherkaska Lozova, where houses were damaged. In Mala Danylivka, a bomb struck a forested area, but there were no casualties.
Preliminary data suggests that the Russians used FAB-250 bombs with a unified planning and correction module. Two Su-34 fighter jets launched the bombs from Tomarovka in the Belgorod region.
The Prosecutor's Office noted that a pre-trial investigation has been launched for violating the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.

Earlier, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that Russian forces struck a high-rise building in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, confirming two dead and seven injured. Meanwhile, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, stated that impacts were also recorded in open areas.
