CyberLeek hackers have published a series of leaked GTA 6 gameplay videos and issued a manifesto of demands to Rockstar Games. The hackers are threatening to release the rest of the material they have if the developers fail to meet their conditions, according to NotebookCheck.

What are the hackers demanding?

The CyberLeek group published a statement on X promising to release its entire archive of leaked gameplay if Rockstar Games does not meet its demand to “make amends for the harm caused” and apologize to the community.

The hackers’ manifesto contains three main demands:

• a ban on digital pre-orders
• no locked-on-disc content sold as paid DLC
• continued and full support for single-player content

CyberLeek has also launched a cryptocurrency fundraiser which, according to the group, is intended to finance a “secret project.”

The hackers say they plan to use the funds to build defensive infrastructure against future legal and cyberattacks from corporations.

“Publishers sell licenses and call it ‘purchasing.’ They release unfinished games and call it ‘continuous updates.’ They lock content on discs and call it ‘additional content’ (DLC).

They stop supporting games but keep the money. Every year, gamers get less and less for their money,” the hackers said in their manifesto.

Community and advocacy groups react

The leaked footage showing GTA 6 protagonist Jason playing basketball and getting involved in street fights has been confirmed as authentic.

Rockstar Games immediately began mass-blocking the videos through copyright infringement claims under the DMCA.

Meanwhile, the Stop Killing Games movement, which campaigns against companies shutting down servers for purchased games, publicly distanced itself from CyberLeek’s actions.

Representatives of the movement called the hackers’ actions destructive, saying that blackmail and leaks only damage the reputation of the gaming community and undermine legitimate efforts to fight for consumer rights.
