Golden Globes 2026: Main category winners announced

On the night of January 11–12, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Golden Globe Awards ceremony ceremony took place in Los Angeles, where the winners were announced.
The main favorite in the cinematic section of the awards was Paul Thomas Anderson’s film One Battle After Another.
The film won four awards in total, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actress.
Overall, the film was nominated in nine categories, making it one of the most prominent projects of the year.
In the drama category, the winner was Hamnet directed by Chloé Zhao.
Among television projects, the miniseries Youth received the most awards, including the top prize for Best Limited Series.
The jury recognized Pitt as the Best Drama Series, while the award for Best Musical or Comedy Series went to Studio.
This year, the organizers also expanded the list of categories, adding two new ones: Best Podcast and Best Stand-up Comedy on Television.
The first was awarded to actor and comedian Amy Poehler, while the stand-up award went to British comedian and actor Ricky Gervais.
