The German Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday, May 27, conducted a search at a house in Brandenburg on suspicion of supporting Russian militants in the so-called LNR and DNR (Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics), according to Der Standard and n-tv.

According to a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office, one of the suspects is accused of organizing fundraising and the transportation of goods to Russian-occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions over several years.

Law enforcement officials say the man is under investigation on suspicion of supporting a terrorist organization abroad. The property that was searched is located in the Dahme-Spreewald district.

The German prosecutor’s office has not disclosed details of the search, and no arrests have been made.

It was previously reported that Estonia expelled and handed over to Ukrainian authorities a Ukrainian citizen, Stanislav Matlak, who had maintained contacts with Russia's FSB.

Additionally, law enforcement officers in Germany and Switzerland detained three Ukrainian citizens suspected of attempting to send parcels containing explosive devices on behalf of Russian intelligence services.
