German company to donate 100 Trinity drones to Ukraine
German drone manufacturer Quantum-Systems will donate 100 Trinity drones in various configurations to Ukraine, according to Deaidua.
The company has a very close relationship with Ukraine, and in addition to the 100 Trinity drones that will be donated to Ukraine, the company also supplies hundreds of Vector UAVs on behalf of the German government.
In November 2023, the company announced that it would start training Ukrainian drone operators in January 2024.
They will learn the basic capabilities of deploying and managing Trinity family drones.
Trinity Pro
One of the three variants that Ukraine will receive is the Trinity Pro, a mapping drone that can take off and land vertically.
The maximum time in the air of the Trinity Pro is 90 minutes, the flight range is 5-7.5 km, and the maximum takeoff weight is 5.75 kg.
Earlier, we reported that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko had agreed with investors and German drone manufacturers to provide Kyiv with 100 new-generation tactical drones. The capital will send these drones to the front line.
