The Security Service of Ukraine struck an oil pumping station in the Krasnodar region of Russia. This facility served the military needs of the Russian army, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

According to the source, units of the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Novovelichkovskaya oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia on February 20, which serves the Tikhoretsk-Novorossiysk-2 oil pipeline.

The military explained that these elements of the oil pumping infrastructure are involved in supplying the Russian army.

"The enemy used ground-based air defense systems and Ka-52 helicopters to counter our weapons. The results of the attack are being clarified," the General Staff explained.

Blow to Russian refineries

Earlier today, RBC-Ukraine's sources reported that Ukraine's Security Service drones attacked the Novovelichkovskaya oil pumping station in Krasnodar Krai, which resulted in the shutdown of the refinery.

On the night of February 5, Russians also complained about a drone attack in the Krasnodar Territory. Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the Albashneft mini-refinery. After a successful hit, a fire broke out at the facility.
