On the night of February 5, units of the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Defense Forces of Ukraine, successfully hit Albashneft LLC in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Mini-Refinery

The plant for primary oil processing and production of petroleum products, as the General Staff says, is positioned as a mini-refinery. In particular, it is involved in the supply of gasoline and diesel to the Russian occupiers.

After a successful hit, a fire broke out at the facility. The results of the hit are currently being clarified.

Buk

Meanwhile, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces successfully hit a Buk anti-aircraft missile complex located in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region.

Ukraine's General Staff confirms the successful hit and damage to the target.

Strikes on Russian territory

Ukraine regularly strikes Russian oil refineries (refineries) to exhaust Russia's logistics and military economy. For example, that night the Russians complained about explosions in the Krasnodar Territory. A fire broke out at an oil depot located near the Kanev district due to a drone strike.

As Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation, later said, the attacked oil depot belongs to an oil refinery that is capable of processing up to 320,000 tons of oil per year.
