Fight night details and opponent
The British "Gypsy King" will have his first fight after a long hiatus on April 11.
The event will take place at one of the arenas in the United Kingdom. Fury’s opponent will be experienced heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov.
The 36-year-old Makhmudov, who is of Russian descent but currently competes under the Canadian flag, is considered a dangerous challenger.
His professional record stands at 21 wins (19 by knockout) and only two losses. He last fought in the fall of 2025, defeating Briton David Allen on points.

Training camp with a Ukrainian coach
Tyson Fury announced his intention to return to competition at the beginning of 2026. Interestingly, the Briton is preparing for his comeback in collaboration with a representative of the Ukrainian boxing school — Oleksandr Zakhozhyi — who is assisting the former champion in the training camp.
Fury’s previous official fight took place in December 2024, when he lost for the second time to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, after which he took a long break from the sport.
Netflix expands its presence in boxing
The event will be organized and broadcast by Netflix.
The platform continues to actively invest in boxing events following successful broadcasts featuring Jake Paul, Mike Tyson, and Anthony Joshua.
Fury vs. Makhmudov will become part of Netflix’s strategy to strengthen its position in the sports streaming market.
Previously, Usyk announced that he would help Vladimir Klitschko return to the ring.
